The Next Q: Meet the Quantum Startups shaping the future

The Applied Quantum Computing summer course offers several perspectives on quantum computing. Students will receive an introduction to understanding and developing applications for this far-sighted and rapidly developing topic.Quantum Computing is making incredible progress in both hardware and software. Although fault-tolerant, full-scale quantum computing is not expected in the next five to ten years, companies must get ready for a technology that will be embedded in many advanced fields.  Quantum computers’ potential use as a security threat also makes quantum security an urgent and growing topic.The course includes a one-day excursion to leading innovation hubs Quantum Delft, Nikhef, QuSoft and The Quantum Experience Amsterdam.Who should join?Students fascinated by new and emerging technologies.Requirements:<ul><li>Basic Programming skills</li><li>Interest in mathematics</li></ul>

De open dag Amsterdam Science Park op zaterdag 7 oktober 2023 (12:00 -17:00 uur) is er voor iedereen tussen de 6 en 106 jaar die geïnteresseerd is in wetenschap en daar meer over wil weten. Neem een kijkje achter de schermen van de wetenschap. Doe een proef, luister naar interessante lezingen, volg een rondleiding of bezoek een demonstratie. Maak kennis met de vele thema’s en technieken die in het Amsterdam Science Park worden onderzocht. Open Day at Amsterdam Science Park

The Second edition of the International Post Quantum Cryptography Conference, organized by the <a target="_blank" href="https://pkic.org/">Public Key Infrastructure Consortium</a>, is set to take place on November 7 and 8, 2023, in Amsterdam. With the aim of addressing the most pressing challenges in the realm of cybersecurity, the conference partners with TNO and CWI, two leading Dutch research institutions, in organizing this prestigious event.Quantum.Amsterdam is also collaborating with PKI Consortium in the planning previous to the groundbreaking conference that will gather experts, researchers, academics, industry leaders, and government officials from around the world. The event will delve into the critical topics surrounding the intersection of post-quantum cryptography, industry impact, and governance.One of the standout features of this conference is its commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. To foster collaboration and knowledge dissemination, conference registrations are open to all interested parties free of charge. As a non-profit initiative, it seeks to eliminate barriers to entry, ensuring that cybersecurity and quantum enthusiasts, industry actors, academics, and government representatives from all corners of the globe can participate and contribute to this important dialogue.The conference organizers are actively seeking forward-thinking and knowledgeable speakers to share their insights and expertise with its community. Quantum Leap into the Future: Exploring the Synergy of Quantum & AI

Quantum Delta NL announces the next edition of Quantum Meets in the week of June 10 to 14, 2024. This initiative consists of a five-day series of quantum events happening throughout the Netherlands and it aims to foster collaboration and make high-quality learning and networking more accessible to create lasting connections within the global quantum community.Unlike your typical quantum conference, Quantum Meets is a five-day collection of events by individual organisers. With a diverse range of events, talks, panels, and workshops, Quantum Meets offers a dynamic and engaging programme that covers a wide spectrum of topics. From applications and implications to the latest research and developments, and growing a quantum business or ecosystem.  The aim is to make high-quality networking and learning accessible to all. Almost all Quantum Meets events are free and any party active in, or related to, quantum technology is welcome to organise an event as part of the programme.

The QuantERA Strategic conference 2024 will take place in Amsterdam on September 24-25. This event aims to explore significant topics within the realm of quantum technologies, in alignment with QuantERA’s mission to foster innovative research and uphold scientific excellence.
